Being a Priest Today

Life - Calling - Mission

The increasing shortage of priests is an issue related to the future and destiny of the Catholic Church. Which significance do priests have for the Church according to the testimonies of faith and how can a future image of priests be shaped in such a way that it appears as an attractive image of life to the believers? The twelfth symposium of the Cardinal Walter Kasper Institute (Vallendar) provides answers to these questions from the perspective of exegesis, dogmatics, spirituality and pastoral practice.

  • Prominent voices from the Church and theologians on the question of priesthood
