No More Fear of Flying

A 6-Step Self-Help Programme

Heart palpitations, sweating and fear of death: As soon as the aeroplane door closes, people with a fear of flying start to experience outright horror. What if I have a panic attack? Does the pilot know what he or she is doing? Will the aeroplane crash in turbulences? This is why many people avoid flying as much as possible – or they try to suppress their fear with alcohol or sedatives. But that’s not enough. In this book, psychologist and flight attendant Karin Bonner presents a clear 6-step programme for overcoming a fear of flying that has been successfully tested in Lufthansa seminars. In addition, pilot Friedrich Klaiber explains technology, safety and procedures. Together they show how to deal with fear, panic and loss of control in everyday flying

  • For first-time and frequent flyers
